Awesome traditional little coffee shop. Came across it by chance but had a great experience. Easy to park outside, beautiful decor inside and out and a fantastic and friendly welcome from the staff. Excellent tea and hot chocolate plus fab scone with trimmings and tomato soup with cheesey bread, all fresh and homemade! Delicious and very reasonably priced! Highly recommended! Wish we lived closer!

Lovely, friendly independent cafe / tearoom. Quirky decoration and a little cramped when busy, but the food, coffee, service and prices more than make up for this. Also met a very cute doggy, which was a bonus!

We regularly meet friends here. It never disappoints. Lovely staff; Emma and Jane front of house couldn’t be nicer. The food is always amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The cakes are to die for! Oh and did I mention the hot chocolate???? The decor is adorable, comfortable and entertaining. It’s warm and I atmosphere and temperature. I can’t fault the place.

A quaint and cozy cafe. Reasonably priced, the food was well cooked and delicious.
Tasty food, great decoration, and a sweet cat, Phoebe, sleeping next to the fire. Enjoyable atmosphere with pleasant, home cooked real food.
This is a little jewel in the countryside. A lovely family-run business, with generous portions and the food is delicious. Service is brilliant with very friendly staff, and the location is beautiful. Highly recommended place to stop for lunch or a quick coffee!! Be warned, it can get busy at lunch time!

A lovely cosy, friendly little café which serves a variety of light bites to more substantial meals. When we visited we had the black & gold burger and it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Been coming to the Bakehouse for years now. Location is beautiful, wonderful decorating inside and out. Emma and rest of staff are always friendly and very helpful. Food is locally sourced and beautifully cooked. Might have to wait a little if busy, buts will worth it. Refreshing to attend a business that promotes the use of cash

Friendly staff and nice rooms. The food was good, and the portions were large. They were busy when we arrived around 13.00, and ours was the only empty table. We were advised there would be a delay. Vegans, vegetarians, and dairy free customers are catered for. The menu was varied and is as has already been shared in a photo. Food is cooked to order. There was a good selection of coffees, teas and cakes.
We were lucky to find a parking space, the last one, on the road outside. If you need a toilet, you seem to need to use the public across the road.
The place seemed to be frequented by regulars/locals. Overall, I would recommend and would call again if in the area.
If you are visiting Benenden Hospital, it's probably less than 10 minutes away, and they said they did takeaways. People were certainly taking away portions of cake!- Rooms

Went for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with the food and service, which was very friendly. If you are after a traditional, quaint British cafe, then this is the place to go in and around Biddenden. I would happily go back here for food and drinks again. Highly recommended.

Questions & answers
101Hi do you still offer holiday accommodation? If so, how much would it be for 2 adults for 7 nights. 26th september to 2nd October
Good afternoon, thanks for your message. I’m afraid we do not offer b&b at the moment as we have a forever growing family 😁 have you tried Susan at Tudor Cottage also in Biddenden High Street? If she’s full I can help you with others. Have a great day, Emma ☀️

Beautiful little bake house with such attention to detail, one of the most authentic and charming cafes I’ve been to in the UK. And the food was absolutely incredible!
